Facebook Messenger Day, is just another clone copy of the successful social snapchat’s Stories. Launched on 9 March worldwide on Android and iOS, after testing in select countries in Europe, US, Australia. Snapchat Stories is all about saying ‘you’ve done’, whereas Messenger Day’s is like “Who’s up for?” filters and Active Now hints that help you find friends to whom to chat and meet them.
To access Facebook Messenger Day all you have to keep an eye on shutter button at the bottom of the screen. If it turn itself into a sun icon, tapping on will let you access it.
However, in first glance you will notice it that it is very similar to Snapchat stories if you ever used snapchat. For those who stick just on facebook will be impressed with this new Social Integration.
What it does show that’s really interesting is, that the recognition of the snapping pics and selfies in today’s and future social world. Sure we’re not going to stop chattering with friends, family, and loved ones any time soon. But Snapchat’s tremendous success in short span has shown that in terms of informal and fast communication. Hence, You can’t beat selfies and camera clicks.

Facebook Messenger Day
Facebook Messager Day is simple as it sounds. What you do is you use Facebook Messenger’s camera and snap pictures or videos. Next you add some text, cartoon overlays, doodles, or facial filters. And then drop this new media into a little digital bundle i.e (your “Day”). Instantly all or some of your friends can access, and it gets deleted itself every 24 hours.
One thing to note is the videos you post are 5 seconds longer than that of Snapchat 10 seconds limit. A small, circle icon will pop up in the bottom-right corner of your Messenger Day thumbnail, when people started viewing your Day activity. To view who watched the Day, tap on the same circle icon. A list will be presented of those people who watched your Day, which you can either remove that person or modified privacy settings for each post.
With Facebook Messanger Day, Facebook had just tapped this opportunity to expand its user base. It’s a Copycat trick, which Facebook is using and stripping all best of Snapchat which depicts facebook’s aim to scale wherever possible.
