Messi ’s: Egocentric Retirement

Almost a week ago, the image of Lionel Messi on his hands and knees, sobbing into the turf of the MetLife Stadium outside New York after his missed penalty in the Copa America final remains haunting. Is this how it must end for the best player on the earth. At least while representing his country that is (Argentina).

The incredible player in the world of football Messi, who turned 29 on June 24, has all to play for. He is richer than Sachin Tendulkar, and he still has prime years in his game. Messi is more instantly recognized than Barack Obama and, pound for pound, more than say.  America’s giant basketball player Stephen curry, the king of tennis Novak Djokovic or the fastest man who ever ran, Usain bolt.

Yes, Cristiano Ronaldo has a stage as big as Messi’s. But he does not have, as Messi still has if he wants it, a national team capable of going for the world title.

5 Reasons to Reconsider Retirement of messi:-

  1.  Sponsorship deal with Adidas:-

Messi has decided to stop playing for Argentina (sponsored by Adidas) but will continue to play for Barcelona (Sponsored by Nike). As he has an individual deal with the company, Adidas will try to convince Messi to continue playing for Argentina.

     2.   World Cup (2018):-

Messi’s retirement may have a negative impact on the national team’s performance in the 2018 WC qualifiers, which will resume on September 1,2016. Messi could make the decision to return and lead the team once more.

     3. His Legacy:-

If he quits now, despite all his records, he may never consider at par with all-time greats such as Pele and Maradona. Pele won three World Cups with Brazil in 1958, 1962 and 1970; the 1986 tournament won by Argentina known as “Maradona’s world cup”.

    4.   Rivalry with Ronaldo: –

His greatest rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, still has the chance to win the silverware with Portugal. The 2018 World cup and 2020 Euro are opportunities for Ronaldo to earn his place among the elite.

    5.    The patriot within:-

Argentina needs Messi, and he has already proved how much he wants to play for his country.

Who can say? Which of us can put ourselves inside the mind, and the heart, of a sports player who, if his statement that he has played his last game in the blue and white shirt of Argentina is to be taken as irreversible, only now has Barcelona to play for?

Now its truth guys we all are going to miss that blue 10 number. Blue  jersey because now Messi will not be there to play the magical game in the team of Argentina.

The perfect example where anyone can learn how to manage success but its quit difficult to digest failure. many FIFA awards, fans, follower he won but at the same time he faced and worst incident throughout his football career. Once Dr. Kalam said that leader must know how to manage success as well as failure. Messi proved himself as a perfect leader and perfect player of football. That’s reason People called him as a legend of international football. but this legend will no more in team of Argentina to support and celebration of victories.
